September 24 and 25 Fairfield, Pennsylvania

  • Display of Pippinfest Pottery -  the complete collection will be on display at the BoroughHall . ​

  • Clowns - will entertain on Main Street



Saturday - September 25: 

 

  • Community Yard Sales - (No permit is required but it is important to registeryour sale with the Borough Office...there will be craft and food vendors on Main Street on Saturday);  29  Main Street yard sales are registered at this time.  (If you would like a yard sale space at the Fire Department, a 9x40 space is $15.  Show up after 6 a.m. Saturday morning and there will be someone there to take payment and direct you to a space.  The address is 106 Steelman Street.)   

  • Craft and food vendors on Main Street.

  • 10:00 a.m. Dedication of Pippin apple tree and recognation of David Thomas, founder of Pippinfest. J.H. Kane Avenue

  • ​Fun for Kids! Climbing wall, inflatable rides, games, pony rides, dime pitch, petting zoo, hands-on play for toddlers with bird seed. (Location on Steelman Street - behind the former Main Street Market (aka Sunny Ray's) and beside the Fire Hall). - Saturday and Sunday


  • Quilt Show & Demonstration in the Village Hall, 108 West  Main Street - 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

  • Self-Guided Walking Tour of 1860 Fairfield - brochures available at the Information Booth in front of the Village Hall​ at 108 West Main Street.

  • Apple Dessert Contest - Listing of 2021 WINNERS!!  Congratulations  Click here for contest entry form Update - the contest will be held in the Fire Department building.  Please drop off desserts between 10 and 11 a.m. Sunday. (Prize Listing)  The winners will be announced at 2:30 p.m. after which delicious desserts will be offered for sale.  ​If you are interested in helping with the baking contest by either helping to collect and sell desserts or judging the contest, please complete the contact form - Click Here.

  • Cruise-In Car Show and Swap Meet: 9 a.m to 4 p.m. Rain or shine....welcomes antique autos, hot rods, vintage race cars, muscle cars, rat rods, street rods, motorcycles, trucks scooters, trikes!  No required entry fee for Auto Show, donations will be accepted. Location beside the Fairfield Fire Department on Steelman Street. For more information call Grant (Granted Antique Auto Restoration) at 717-642-9082.

  • Carriage Rides - Silvershire Farms will provide carriage rides for a small fee ($6 per person age 5 and up, lap children under 4 and under are free).  The rides will start near the recreation association building at 136 Steelman Street (see picture below).
