Sadly, the 40th Annual Pippinfest, held the last full weekend in September has been cancelled.  Due to the limitations of permitted activities in the "green" stage of the Governor's emergency declaration relative to COVID-19  - particularly that which prohibits gathering of more than 250 people - the Fairfield borough Council voted unanimously to cancel all 2020 Pippinfest activities, including yard sales.  Committee chair Sally Thomas will conduct the regularly scheduled Pippinfest Committee meeting on June 9 to answer questions and talk about planning for next year's festival.  We are all looking forward to a great celebration in 2021...mark your calendars...September 25 and 26!!!
